This art print is a part of the ‘Topics’ collection. These prints exude the history, storytelling and art of adornment from the South Asian culture. Through the rich colours and jewels, these prints add a statement to every room. Pair with a plain frame and accompanying candles or pampas grass to elevate the print.

Print finish

All art prints are printed on high quality ‘smooth cotton high white paper’ which leaves a smooth and texture-free matte finish. The high white shade assures saturated colours lift when printed.

Why Are Virgins Fetishized?

Double Standards: ‘Men who have pre-marital sex want virgin brides’
*DISCLAIMER* This topic does not pertain to ALL men, nor is it about ALL relationships or marriages. However, this is highlighting a few cases where this happens.
Whilst India is broadening its horizons, it remains trapped in patriarchal thinking as there are severe double standards between men and women when it comes to marriage and sex.
A few years ago, a friend of mine had an argument with a South Asian male online. He was a womaniser and bragged about sleeping around but highlighted his desire for a virgin bride. He felt he could “teach her” what he liked. It’s this shocking perception which allow men to objectify all women, fetishize virgins and discard non-virgin women.
